Syracuse, NY – July 2015 / Newsmaker Alert / It’ll be a night of tight harmonies and high glamour when pop singing group Fifth Harmony takes the stage at Chevy Court at the Great New York State Fair Friday, September 4 at 8 p.m., Acting Fair Director Troy Waffner announced. The show takes place during the Fair’s Student Day, when anyone age 18 or younger is admitted free with identification that shows the date of birth.

2015 has been a big year for Fifth Harmony – Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Lauren Jauregui, Camila Cabello, and Dinah Jane. During the spring, they achieved “Favorite New Artist” at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards, performed at the White House Annual Easter Egg Roll and received widespread critical acclaim for their headline “Reflection Tour.” Their much anticipated debut album “Reflection” debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 in January and solidified Fifth Harmony’s place at the top of pop. The album includes their current platinum smash “Worth It” which is in the top 5 on Top 40 radio and top 15 on the Billboard Hot 100 along with platinum singles “BO$$” and “Sledgehammer.” Fifth Harmony is on the road currently for “Reflection: The Summer Tour.”

“This is going to be a fun, family-friendly night of great pop music by young women with amazing voices and positive stories to tell. They respect the music and musicians who came before them and put their own spin on today’s sounds. This will be a terrific show, and one of the highlights of a 2015 Chevy Court concert series that I believe is the greatest lineup we’ve ever had,” said Waffner.

The Fair has previously announced several shows for its 2015 series of free concerts at Chevy Court, a lineup that’s garnering attention as perhaps the best and most diverse ever. Shows announced include:
