USA TODAY’s expert panel selected the Great New York State Fair as a contender for Best State Fair contest, which launched Monday (August 31). The contest gives voters four weeks to vote for their favorite choice. A person can vote once a day for the run of the contest. The direct link to vote is at www.10best.com/awards/travel/best-state-fair/great-new-york-state-fair-syracuse-n-y.

Voting ends Monday, September 28th, 2015 at noon and the winners will be announced on 10Best on Friday, October 2nd, 2015 at noon, then later on USA TODAY.

The New York State Fair, operated by the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets, runs from August 27 to September 7, 2015.
