bids farewell to longtime Regional Director David Appleby this month, after
decades of service to both the OSSN organization and later CCRA.
|
 David
managed the Southwest US region, guiding and mentoring members, Chapter
Directors, and industry suppliers. His work both strengthened and helped
grow the value of the CCRA network, and he will be deeply missed by both
his members and Chapter Directors in the region.
David
and his wife Susan manage Texas
Cruise and Travel located in Dripping Springs, Texas.
CCRA’s
President and CEO, Dic Marxen, was quoted as saying:
“We’re
so grateful for all of the time, dedication, and service that David and
his wife have given to CCRA. I know I speak for the entire organization
when I say we’ve all learned a lot from him on both travel, the industry
and how to make our customers feel welcome and valued. We’ll miss his input
greatly, but know he is always a phone call away. We wish him well as he
continues on the success of his travel agency business.”
A new
Regional Director for the Southwest Region of the US will be announced
in the coming weeks.
