| Chesapeake Beach Resort & Spa Wins Bay Weekly Best of the Bay Awards | Resort Restaurants and Hotel Recognized as “Best of the Bay” by Annapolis and Southern Maryland Readers | Bay Weekly Magazine conducts the Best of the Bay Awards annually and announces winners at the end of each year from over 200 categories to which polled readers nominate their favorite businesses and services. 2014 marks the 17th year for Best of the Bay awards, and is the first time the Resort has won in so many categories. Bay Weekly Magazine states in their award announcement article that these awards are an “annual report on what and who gives their readers the most satisfaction in Chesapeake Country.” “Winning all of these Best of the Bay awards is a true source of pride for the entire team at the Chesapeake Beach Resort & Spa and we’d like to thank all of the Bay Weekly readers who took the time to nominate us,” said the Resort’s Owner Gerald Donovan. “There is no greater seal of approval than being recognized by one’s customers. During the past 68 years the original Rod ‘N’ Reel Restaurant and Marina
have grown to include a waterfront hotel and full service spa, a second
