Daniel Home, the luxury home furnishings retailer, is hosting a fundraiser
for an upcoming cycling event that is expected to help feed thousands of
hungry local children in Southwest Florida.
The
third Annual Pan Florida Challenge Ride for Hungry Kids invites 200 cyclists
to ride 160 miles on March 12-13 from Naples to Palm Beach to raise funds
for meals to feed hungry kids in southern Florida and Haiti. Last year’s
event raised enough money to provide food for 700,000 meals for needy children.
The
Clive Daniel Home fundraiser for the Pan Florida Challenge is scheduled
for Thursday, February 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 in the store’s showroom at
2777 Tamiami Trail North in Naples. Guests will be invited to make donations
at the party or via the event website at www.PanFloridaChallenge.org.
Cyclists and volunteers who want to participate should also visit the website.

Clive
Daniel Home is a Gold Sponsor for the Challenge. Donations are 100 per
cent tax deductible. Funds raised from the Challenge are feeding 1,200
kids across 19 elementary schools including children in six elementary
schools in Collier County so they no longer have to go hungry over weekends.

is estimated that one out of four children in Florida have no idea where
their next meal is coming from,” shared Daniel Lubner, CEO of Clive Daniel
Home. “We wanted to participate by hosting an evening of hors d’oeuvres
and drinks so our customers and friends can learn more about the organization
and how it helps to feed over a half million hungry children. With generosity
of our friends and the Challenge riders we hope to raise donations that
will benefit this very special event.”
