Daniel Home, the Naples, Florida, premier home furnishings retailer,
has recently named George Swensen to the position of Sales Manager with
responsibility for management of the store’s 34 sales personnel.

Swensen
comes to Clive Daniel Home with over four decades of experience in furnishing
retail and manufacturing. Originally from Minnesota, he began his career
at Dayton Hudson & Company in Minneapolis, where he served as interior
designer and associate buyer for their interior design department. He was
later general manager of Kittle’s Furniture in Indianapolis and then sales
associate for Pennsylvania House Furniture in Minnesota and Ohio.
Swensen
was the owner of Schauer and Schumacher Furniture Design in Green Bay,
Wisconsin and vice president of Jasper Cabinets in Indiana. For over four
years, he owned ARCH, located in the Designer Center of Americas in Dania,
Florida, selling to interior designers. Since 1997, he was a manufacturer’s
representative, primarily in Florida, selling various high-end furniture
products. One of his main clients was the former Robb & Stucky.
