Additionally,
a 28’ tall great room wall is adorned with antique hemlock barn siding
which was milled and hand-finished with European oils on site. Six Brazilian
Ipe decks grace the perimeter and the private, fully-manicured grounds,
and an 18’ x 40’ pool and spa complement the outdoor kitchen and living
areas. The home also includes an oversized three-car garage and a citrus
garden of limes, lemons, tangelos, grapefruit, and figs.
According
to Emanuel, “The furnishings will feature linen textures, black iron with
gold accents, and the addition of antique wood from a reclaimed Massachusetts
barn for an accent wall opposite the fireplace, adding warmth to the contrasting
citrus colors. The design intent is to fuse the organic feel with the clean
and transitional furniture to create this unique and contemporary ‘farmhouse
chic’ look.”
