Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex Offers Special
Viewing Access for Launch of the World’s Most Powerful Rocket,
the SpaceX Falcon Heavy

Cape Canaveral, FL – January 2018 / Newsmaker Alert / When SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy lifts off from Kennedy Space Center’s famed Pad 39A, the same launchpad from which Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong set course for the moon on Apollo 11 in 1969, a new kind of history will be made. In anticipation of the once-in-a-lifetime event, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is offering guests special viewing opportunities through a selection of packages designed to enhance the experience, all within a few miles from the launchpads. They are as follows:

Package:  “Feel the Heat”

  • Location: Apollo/Saturn V Center
  • Cost: $195 per person
  • Package includes:
  • Two-day admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, plus transportation to Apollo/Saturn V Center viewing location - the closest you can safely get to watch the world’s most powerful rocket
  • A trip to the Shuttle Landing Facility for a first-ever opportunity for the public to visit the exact spot where space shuttle Atlantis made its final wheel stop after its 5.2-million-mile journey.
  • Premium catered meal including a champagne toast and commemorative champagne flute keepsake
  • SpaceX hat
  • Visitor complex parking*
  • Jumbotron access and live, expert commentary of launch and landing

  • Location: Space Shuttle Atlantis® North lawn viewing
  • Cost: $115 per person
  • Package includes:
  • Two– day admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
  • Launch viewing from the Space Shuttle Atlantis North Lawn Viewing Location
  • Buffet meal
  • Keepsakes such as SpaceX sticker and a commemorative item
  • Visitor complex parking*
  • Jumbotron access and live, expert commentary of launch and landing
  • Live programing

Package: “Closer”
  • Location: Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex
  • Cost: $75 per person
  • Package includes:
  • Two-day admission to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

  • Full access to the activities, exhibits, shows and displays at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex pre- and post-launch
  • Jumbotron access and live, expert commentary of launch and landing
  • Digital photo on the day of the launch with special background options
Package: “Close”
  • Location: ATX Center on Vectorspace Blvd.
  • Cost: $35
  • Package includes:
  • Viewing access
  • Vectorspace parking
  • Jumbotron access and live, expert commentary of launch and landing
  • Food, beverage and retail items will be available for purchase
*A limited number of preferred parking passes are available for the above packages at an additional cost of $15

Ticket packages are sold for the specific mission (SpaceX Falcon Heavy) and not for a specific date.
