When: Saturday, November 26, 6 p.m. with tree lighting at 6:45 p.m.

Where:
Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, main lobby
1122 Highway 41, Fish Camp, CA 93623

Who: Locals and guests are invited to help the resort kick off the holiday season

Jamie Parmer, a six-year old local resident who just finished a three-year course of treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at Valley Children’s Healthcare, will be the hotel’s guest of honor and will help the property light its 35-foot tall, eco-friendly holiday tree.

Why: The holiday tree lighting marks the official start of Tenaya’s holiday season, which includes an exciting line-up of fun activities and events for the entire family. At the grand tree-lighting ceremony, onlookers can delight in holiday hot beverages and visit with Santa and his elves. In the spirit of giving, Tenaya Lodge encourages all guests attending to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the kids at Valley Children’s Hospital. Items requested include new, unopened toys for infants through teens, gift cards for popular retailers such as Target and Old Navy, board games, craft sets and new clothing items including pajamas, undergarments and T-shirts.
