Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts Kicks Off Rafting Season In Yosemite National Park
Yosemite National Park, CA – July 2011 – Bikers are cruising on the paths, families are enjoying s’mores at night and summer is now in full-swing with the opening of rafting in Yosemite National Park. Delaware North Companies Parks & Resorts at Yosemite offers three-mile rafting trips along the Merced River daily from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and it anticipates the rafting season will run through Labor Day depending on weather and river level conditions.

“Rafting along the Merced River is a fun and unique way to explore Yosemite Valley,” said Sean Costello, manager for Curry Village Recreation Center. “The water and weather conditions were not typical this year causing a later rafting season than usual and we expect a fantastic rafting season ahead.”
