For over five years, Delaware North has been working to update the hotels, resorts and cabins it operates as part of a larger lodging initiative. The long-term plan is to think beyond updates and renovations and focus on bringing unique lodging options to guests.

“From a design perspective, the goal is to create clean, simple and fresh accommodations across the board, and to institute consistent and standard room essentials at every location,” said Leone. “From an accommodations perspective, we are looking to bring alternative lodging experiences that complement the uniqueness of a location such as luxury cabineering, luxury tents, tree houses, and retro-themed recreational vehicle parks.”

Delaware North’s parks and resorts business began creating new lodging experiences in 2013 with the addition of 10 new luxury suites at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite, near the national park.
