“We
love visiting the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in Perry,”
said Family Motor Coach Association
(FMCA) national president Jon Walker. “The staff at the fairgrounds and
members of the local community are friendly and helpful and go out of their
way to make FMCA members feel welcome.”
This,
in part, explains the fact that FMCA will be hosting its 10th event at
the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter in March. In addition to
being located right off Interstate 75, a main north-south route for snowbirds
and other travelers, the facility is tailor-made for an FMCA convention.
It has abundant space for families to park their RVs and stay on-site,
and it offers first-class facilities to accommodate the exhibits, seminars,
and other activities that take place during an FMCA event.
The
RV expo that unfolds during the FMCA convention is a key element. Major
RV manufacturers and dealers come together to present a fantastic shopping
opportunity for those looking to purchase their first RV or their next.
RVs in a variety of types, sizes, and price ranges will be on display.
Plus, hundreds of companies will set up displays of RV components and accessories,
home products, and RV-related services.
Exhibit
hours are 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 15, and 9:00 a.m. to
5:00 p.m. Friday through Sunday, March 16, 17, and 18.
When
they aren’t shopping, attendees can take part in seminars about topics
ranging from towing a vehicle behind a motorhome to microwave-convection
cooking. Approximately 100 different sessions will be held, so plenty of
educational opportunities will present themselves.
Multiple
options are available for attending FMCA conventions. RV owners are invited
to bring their vehicle and stay on-site to enjoy all of the activities.
Those who don’t yet own an RV are welcome to come for the day and just
explore the RV expo, or purchase a passport that allows them to take part
in all activities (with no RV parking).
Registration
for the event in Perry is under way at FMCA.com
and by phone at 513-474-3622 or 800-543-3622.
