Las
Vegas, NV – June 2016 / Newsmaker Alert / Chaparral
High School 12th-grader Rebekah Solorzano has received the grand prize
in an art contest celebrating the National
Park Service’s 100th anniversary. Forever
Resorts partnered with the Lake
Mead National Recreation Area and the Clark County School District
School-Community Partnership Office to host an art contest for K – 12 school
students. The competition encouraged all students to design an image incorporating
both Southern Nevada’s park lands and the National Park Service’s Centennial
theme of #EveryKidInAPark. Nearly 400 entries were received from schools
across the Las Vegas Valley.
