The full gallery of these photographs, taken this summer by U.S. park visitors from around the world, may be viewed here. “As the National Park Service’s birthday approaches, there’s still time for end-of-summer park vacationers to send in their #MyNatureSelfie photos,” said Darla Cook, vice president of public relations and events, Forever Resorts. “With AAA reporting 80 percent of Americans are as likely or more likely to visit a national park in the next 12 months, we’re confident our grand prize will be a real crowd-pleaser. We’re giving the lucky winner a 2017 vacation to one of our National Park Service destinations!” Through Sept. 23, 2016, visitors to any U.S. park can snap a selfie and, in five words or less, describe why they love that park. Then, they should share their selfie via social media, being sure to tag @ForeverResorts and use the hashtag #MyNatureSelfie, for a chance to win. The Grand Prize will be announced on Sept. 30, 2016. Entrants must be 21 years of age or older to qualify for prizes. One #MyNatureSelfie winner will receive the Grand Prize—a 2-night stay for four people, including a food allowance at any of Forever Resorts’ participating lodges OR a 2-night lakeside vacation for up to 12 passengers on a 70-foot Titanium houseboat, including fuel and choice of powerboat or two personal watercraft. The Grand Prize trip must be taken in 2017; blackout dates for the houseboat destinations apply. Participating destinations include places such as Signal Mountain Lodge in Grand Teton National Park, Grand Canyon Lodge North Rim, Cedar Pass Lodge at Badlands National Park and The Lodge at Bryce Canyon—as well as Forever Resorts’ houseboating destinations at places like Lake Powell in Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and Lake Mead and Lake Mohave in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area.
