Spriggs, President and CEO of Hospitality
Management Corporation (HMC), is pleased to announce the addition of
this 104-room Holiday
Inn Express® in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to their portfolio of
managed hotels. HMC will be working in partnership with new ownership group
Newstream Commercial®,
headed by Scott Tarwater, President of the company’s Hotel and Resorts
Division.
HMC
continues its ongoing business expansion which is made up of full service,
conference center, select service and limited service hotels. HMC is one
of the country’s largest third-party privately held hotel management companies,
ranked in the top 40 of all third party and owner operated hotel management
corporations.
The
hotel is conveniently
located off Interstate 40 at exit 165 and many guest rooms offer unobstructed
views of the Sandia Mountains. This Holiday Inn Express® is the most
convenient hotel in the area to Sandia Labs and Kirtland Air Force Base.
Popular local attractions include the Albuquerque International Balloon
Fiesta, University of New Mexico (UNM), Sandia Peak Ski & Tramway,
Old Town, St. Clair Winery, Rio Grande Zoo, National Atomic Museum and
numerous casinos. Within a short drive are the Ice Caves and Bandera Volcano
or guests can enjoy glider flights in Moriarty only 20 minutes from the
property.
The
hotel’s amenities include an indoor pool, hot tub, fitness center, complimentary
hot breakfast buffet and Wi-Fi. Room service is provided by the “Owl Café,”
a 50’s style diner offering a delicious traditional menu including burgers,
blue plate specials, milkshakes and ice cream sodas.
