Atlanta,
GA – September 2014 / Newsmaker Alert / The Krystal Company’s chief
legal officer, Sloane Perras, was named a “Rising Star” by Atlanta’s top
legal publication, The Daily Report. Each year, the editors handpick
40 lawyers under 40 who were highly recommended by their peers.

A
cum laude graduate of University of Georgia School of Law, Perras started
her legal career clerking for Chief Judge William T. Boyett of the Superior
Court for the Conasauga Judicial Circuit. She previously served nearly
six years in senior counsel roles at Aaron’s Inc. and Americold, and is
licensed to practice law in five states. Perras joined The Krystal Company
in May 2013 as its first general counsel.
“It
is an honor to receive this respect from my colleagues, friends and associates,”
said Perras. “It is a gift to be recognized for doing what I love to do
– work with an iconic organization like The
Krystal Company and give back to the up-and-coming lawyers in my community.”
Perras
is active in the local legal community as a member of the Atlanta Bar Association
and as the Secretary of the ACC Georgia Chapter. She is also a volunteer
for Pro Bono Partnership, an Atlanta-based legal aid organization. She
serves on the Advisory Counsel for the National Association of Minority
