Jackson joined National Association
of Convenience Stores (NACS) on May 13 as its editor in chief, overseeing
the organization’s print and digital content, including the award-winning
NACS
Magazine.
| NACS serves the $601 billion convenience and fuels retailing industry by sharing ideas and insights in its award-winning publications, including NACS Magazine and the “Convenience Matters” podcast; creating unique networking and education opportunities, including the annual NACS Show, which is one of the 40 largest trade shows in the country at 420,000 net square feet; and providing industry-leading research and analysis. Jackson previously served 12 years at the Water Environment Federation, most recently as senior director of publishing, leading all aspects of the association’s publishing enterprise. She also served in editorial roles for the National Insulation Association, the American Chemistry Council and Association of the U.S. Army. She earned a B.A. in English and Classics and an M.A. in English from Georgetown University. Jackson is active in several professional associations including the Association of American Publishers, Association Media & Publishing, American Society of Association Executives and American Society of Business Publication Editors.
