Pinnacle Award for lifetime achievement during the organization’s recent conference.

Lifetime Achievement Award Goes to Joe Nahman, Founder of RMCNahman has been managing resort properties for 30 years and also operates a successful resale company, Resort Source, which specializes in selling association owned weeks for legacy resorts. He has earned a number of accolades including: presidency of the Low Country Property Management Association, a place in the Leadership Hilton Head Program, the “Silver Award” from the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) for “National Timeshare General Manager of the Year” and nominations for a number of other ARDA awards including “National Resort Executive of the Year.”

The Pinnacle Award, presented only once every two years by the Cooperative Association of Resort Exchangers (C.A.R.E.), honors an individual who has attained the top heights of excellence in the vacation industry, possesses the highest ethical standards, characteristics of leadership and integrity, a commitment to quality and dedication to their community through philanthropic activities.

Nahman has been recognized by the ARDA Educational Institute with the “Seal of Achievement” for adherence to an industry code of ethics and continuing education. In addition, he was a two-term board member of the South Carolina chapter of the Community Association Institute (CAI) and is a long-time member of the Hilton Head Preparatory School’s Board of Trustees.

“It’s an honor to be given this award by an organization that has done so much for this industry,” said Nahman. “We’ve dedicated ourselves at RMC to maintaining the highest quality standards for our owners and guests, and to be recognized in this way validates so much of our team’s hard work.”

The award also acknowledged Nahman’s service above self manta, including his work on a number of civic, charitable and community boards, some of which include the Greater Bluffton Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, the American Heart Association, Hilton Head Deep Well Project, Shipyard Plantation, Crossroads Community Service and Low Country Alliance for Healthy Youth. He graduated cum laude from the University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Management with a degree in Hotel Management.
