Reasons Why You Should Attend ARDA World (by Sharon Scott, RRP)
-
It’s an investment in your business.
-
It’s an investment in yourself
and your future.
-
Bottom Line: It’s Fun!
The American Resort Development
Association (ARDA) is truly blessed with members dedicated to sharing knowledge
and supporting one another. From May 1st through the 5th, this community
of professionals drawn from resorts and associated businesses will converge
at ARDA World 2016 – the timeshare resort industry’s global, annual convention.
ARDA World is really unique. It’s the only meeting of its kind to draw
on resort professionals and suppliers/vendors who come from all over the
world. ARDA’s annual convention provides attendees with great networking
opportunities, excellent educational programming, an exhibit hall full
of vendors who specialize in the industry and don’t forget the many receptions
and social gatherings. (more)

Fixes to Keep Your Resort Décor Current (by Georgi Bohrod
Gordon, RRP)

resort that caters to all sorts of folks, Interior Design is a major challenge.

latest and greatest trends.

Soraya Shah-Mirany, who went on the hunt for inspiration at the 2016 International
Furniture Show in High Point, North Carolina for six days. Her fitness
tracker told her she averaged 15,000 steps every day as she tirelessly
scoped out new lines for Global Discovery Vacations’ members and Global
Connections’ resorts. (more)

aren’t clear and high standards aren’t demanded, it won’t matter if there’s

service and maintenance will suffer. Similarly, even “experienced” properties
can receive glowing comment cards and provide top-notch accommodations
when employees are motivated and well-trained.
But how can you know if the
job candidate sitting across the desk from is the one who’ll lead your
team to the mountaintop? Resort Trades checked in with three industry experts
to see how they identify management talent and what it looks like in action.
Here are some key things to look for. (more)
