Stanley and Gene Simmons announce plans to expand their family-friendly
Rock
& Brews restaurant brand into Florida and have selected multi-unit
franchise operator R&B Florida, LLC., to open several locations throughout
the state. The first Florida location is set to open in the Orlando suburb
of Oviedo in November of this year. A grand opening event hosted by Stanley
and Simmons will take place in January.

Florida, LLC is comprised of a group of local, seasoned restaurant professionals,
including Regional Managing Partner Scott Paul, who was the Managing Partner
for Outback Steakhouse and worked at three Orlando locations for more than
12 years.
“Rock
& Brews is a unique restaurant and entertainment brand that appeals
to a multi-generational audience with its energized environment, exceptional
food, and extensive selection of international and craft beers,” said Paul.
“At the heart of the brand is our deep devotion to the communities in which
we operate, and we are very excited to become an active member of the Oviedo
community.”
The
approximately 7,500 square foot Rock & Brews Oviedo will feature
the brand’s signature quality American comfort food, and a full bar that
includes one of the area’s largest selections of international and local
craft beers and premium wines. The family-friendly, rock-inspired environment
includes multiple screens and a state-of-the-art sound system broadcasting
some of the greatest concert moments in rock history, as well as murals,
canvas art of iconic rock images and Rock & Brews signature
Great Wall of Rock. Guests can dine indoors or al fresco on heated and
cooled patios, offering the latest in mist cooling systems and side motorized
curtains for the hot summer months, and fire pits and heaters for the winter
months. And, with something for everyone, Rock & Brews Oviedo will
be dog-friendly and offer a lively play area for children.
Stanley
and Simmons, and their co-founding partners restaurateur/hotelier Michael
Zislis and concert industry veterans Dave and Dell Furano, are thoughtfully
planning for worldwide expansion of the brand. The franchise agreement
with R&B Florida, LLC is the third of a handful of multi-unit operating
partners that Rock & Brews plans to engage on a regional level for
the expansion.
Rock
& Brews Oviedo will join the brand’s growing roster of standalone
restaurants and airport and stadium concepts that includes four Los Angeles
area locations (El Segundo, Redondo Beach, LAX Terminal 5, and StubHub
Center in Carson); its first international location in San Jose del Cabo,
Mexico; a restaurant in Paia on Maui; a restaurant in Overland Park, Kansas;
and its newest location in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Additionally, Rock
& Brews is scheduled to open a second location in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
in December.
