Restaurant Group Honors Truck Driver Veterans
with
Free Meals on Veterans Day

at TA and Petro Full-Service Restaurants

Westlake,

of America LLC (NYSE: TA), operator of the TA® and Petro Stopping
Centers® branded travel centers, invites all truck drivers who are
also veterans of the United States armed services to enjoy a complimentary
meal from a select menu that includes a beverage on Veterans Day, Friday,
November 11, 2016, at any participating TA or Petro sit-down restaurant
nationwide. TA and Petro will be honoring the service and sacrifice of
the men and women who have served our country.
“We
find ways throughout the year to thank drivers,” said Tom O’Brien, President
and CEO of TravelCenters. He added, “But on this day, Veterans Day, our
goal is to celebrate America’s drivers who are also veterans for their
patriotism, love of country, and willingness to serve and sacrifice both
on and off the road. We are quite honored to have had the privilege of
serving over 40,000 free meals to veterans and active duty military over
the years and look forward to this honor again on Veterans Day.”
On
November 11, anyone who is a veteran of the armed forces and holds a CDL
can receive a complimentary meal from a select menu including a beverage
by simply showing proof of service to their server prior to ordering their
meal. Proof of service includes: U.S. Uniform Services Retired ID Card,
Veterans Organization Card, photograph in uniform, DD214, or citation or
commendation.
