Celebrate the luck of the Irish this St. Patrick’s Day with
live entertainment, food and cocktail specials, gaming events and more

Verona, NY – March 2016 / Newsmaker Alert / Why celebrate St. Patrick’s Day for only one day? Turning Stone Resort Casino’s resort wide St. Patrick’s Day celebration will spread across four days, with authentic live Irish entertainment, special food and drink menu items, a festive Mr. Lucky Prize Patrol, and a celebratory bar crawl throughout Turning Stone’s Exit 33 venues.

The festivities kick off on St. Patrick’s Day – Thursday, March 17 – at 1:00 p.m. with Irish rockers The Causeway Giants and Celtic musicians The Kilgore McTrouts performing in the Winter Garden from 1:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. In between music sets, the Syracuse-based McDonald School of Irish Dance will take the stage, performing traditional synchronized Irish dancing.

Several of Turning Stone’s dining venues will incorporate some Irish flavor into their menus March 17 – 20. Upstate Tavern is adding two new dishes to its menu for the Irish holiday—a creamy Guinness and Cheddar Soup and an Open Face Corned Beef Reuben. Emerald restaurant, Turning Stone’s 24 hour dining venue, will offer guests a corned beef dinner, complete with soup or salad, corned beef and carrots, celery, onions and potatoes. The Season’s Harvest buffet will feature a wide variety of Irish fare, including Shepherd’s Pie, Bangers and Mash, Beef Guinness Stew and more.

Guests can also test their luck over on the gaming floor with Mr. Lucky himself. Mr. Lucky’s Leprechaun Prize Patrol will be sharing the luck with guests on St. Patrick’s Day, as guests in Lucky Locations are randomly selected to win $1,700 at regular half hour intervals from 5:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. Any guests actively playing in the same bank of machines or table as lucky guests will also receive $50 in Slot Play.

Specialty themed cocktails – The Irish Goodbye and the Blarney Stone – will be also available for $5 March 17 – 19 on the gaming floor making for an immersive St. Patrick’s Day experience.

Exit 33 extends the St. Patrick’s Day celebration to Saturday March 19, giving guests the ability to enjoy several festive venues under one roof. Kicking off at A-Bar at 9:00 p.m., the St. Patty’s Day Pub Crawl will move through each venue—with the help of some friendly leprechauns—culminating in an extravagant St. Patrick’s Day parade right through Exit 33. For $20, in addition to regular venue cover charges, the first 200 guests will receive a commemorative t-shirt, VIP access, line jumping, and special $6 price for 18oz domestic drafts at all Exit 33 venues. Guests can purchase the Pub Crawl Package at the Exit 33 coat check, located near LAVA Nightclub.
