Verona, NY – August 2015 / Newsmaker Alert / Turning Stone Resort Casino has been honored with three prestigious Awards of Excellence in the 2015 Wine Spectator Restaurant Wine List Awards, recognizing Wildflowers, TS Steakhouse and Pino Bianco restaurants. This is the fourth consecutive year of the elite accolade for Wildflowers and Pino Biano and the third for TS Steakhouse which opened in late 2012 after the list’s publication. The 2015 winners were highlighted in the magazine’s recently published August issue.

Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Wine List Awards recognizes venues with significant wine lists offering well-chosen selections from quality producers and deemed interesting, a thematic match to the menu, and appealing to a diverse range of wine lovers. Less than 2,600 restaurants worldwide receive the Award of Excellence each year, with winners spanning more than 50 countries.

“It is truly an honor to once again have three of our restaurants selected for the esteemed Awards of Excellence,” said Oneida Nation Representative and Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter. “These accolades illustrate Turning Stone’s unparalleled dedication to detail in order to provide an exceptional and enchanting experience within all areas and aspects of our resort. We thank Wine Spectator for this wonderful recognition, and look forward to continuing to exceed customer expectations at all of our venues.”

Earlier this year, Pino Bianco and Turning Stone’s Peach Blossom, were highlighted among the region’s best restaurants with Diner’s Choice Awards from OpenTable. TS Steakhouse and Wildflowers have also been named to numerous OpenTable Diners’ Choice lists, including Upstate New York’s lists for the Most Romantic Restaurants, Best Ambiance Restaurants and the Best Restaurants for a Special Occasion.

Wildflowers also received the coveted AAA Four Diamond Award in May, along with Turning Stone’s The Tower and The Lodge at Turning Stone. This honor is granted to less than six percent of AAA approved hotels and less than three percent of its restaurants. Turning Stone is the only resort in New York State with three AAA Four Diamond venues at one property.

Renowned not only for its upscale dining and celebrated accommodations, Turning Stone Resort Casino welcomes more than 4.5 million visitors each year at its sprawling 3,400 acre facility featuring PGA-level golf courses, world-class gaming, nightlife and entertainment. The resort’s $25 million entertainment complex “Exit 33” features four unique venues under one roof to thrill guests of any style or interest.
