Up’ 5k Run/Walk, rescheduled KY Bluegrass Music Kick Off, more

Live
in Concert
At
7 p.m. on Friday, March 4, The Willis Clan performs at Lebanon’s Angelic
Hall Stage at Centre Square. A family of incredibly talented musicians,
dancers, athletes, writers and artists, the Willises, who live near Nashville,
TN, merge their Irish roots with other music and dance genres to create
a unique blend of the old and new. They have been seen on “America’s Got
Talent” and their own reality show, “The Willis Family,” on TLC. Tickets:

fired up!
Celebrate
the capital of the bourbon barrel manufacturing industry during the new
All Fired Up 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, March 12. One lucky runner will receive
an authentic bourbon barrel courtesy of Kentucky Cooperage Company. Additionally,
unique barrel awards will go to the first, second and third place male
and female winners in each age group and the first, second and third place
overall runners in the children’s race.
Enjoy
discounted tours at Maker’s Mark or Kentucky Cooperage Company with proof
of race registration. Chow down at a specially priced $10 Bourbon Barrel
Pasta Bar (includes drink) at Cedarwood Restaurant, 5-8 p.m. on Friday,
March 11. (Pre-race packet pick up and registration will be available.)
A portion of the proceeds from the dinner will be donated to the race.
Show
your race registration for drink specials at these participating Lebanon
race partners: Rosewood Bar & Grill, Shiners, Cedarwood Restaurant
and Chaser’s Restaurant. Special Friday night room rates will be offered
at Myrtledene Bed & Breakfast, Hill House Bed & Breakfast and the
Hampton Inn of Lebanon.

Registration fees: $25 pre-registration fee until Feb. 26; $30 registration
fee after Feb. 26; $15 Kids fun run; $20 Virtual Runner. Race shirts may
be picked up or mailed. This chip-timed race begins at 9 a.m. at the Marion
County Heritage Center for the race; proceeds go to the Marion County High
School baseball team.

Catch
The Seldom Scene
Rescheduled
due to weather, the 11th annual Kentucky Bluegrass Music Kickoff will take
place March 18-19 and feature multiple Independent Music Award-winning
progressive bluegrass band The Seldom Scene. Also performing will be Flatt
Lonesome Band, Gary “Biscuit” Davis and the Moron Brothers. Workshops,
open jam sessions and a singer/songwriter competition are part of the fun.

tickets are $49 for the Friday show and Saturday dinner show. Friday’s
Bluegrass Show: $10/general admission bleacher seating; free kids 11 and
under. Saturday’s Bluegrass Show: $25/general admission bleacher seating;
free admission to the Friday night general admission show. NOTE:

Lebanon, KY
Geographically
located in the center of the state, Lebanon
is the “Heart of Bourbon Country,” the epicenter of Kentucky barrel and
bourbon making. Attractions include Maker’s Mark Distillery, Limestone
Branch Distillery, photo op stop Lebanon/Maker’s Mark Water Tower and the
Kentucky Cooperage. For outdoor enthusiasts, Gorley Naturalist Trail presents
