time is here
Visitors
to Wakefield-Scearce Galleries,
kicking off the Christmas shopping season beginning Tuesday, Nov. 3, will
see more than a dozen professionally decorated trees, including a traditionally
decorated 15-foot tree. The trees will be holding court throughout the
Galleries, whose 30 rooms will also be lavishly decorated. Expect floor
to ceiling Christmas and be ready to shop till you drop.
Shoppers
who wish to lunch on fine Kentucky fare – fresh Kentucky trout, Kentucky
country ham, the legendary Hot Brown open-faced sandwich swaddled in cheese
sauce, fried chicken – during their visit to Wakefield-Scearce should make
reservations as early in advance as possible at Science Hill Inn: 502-633-2825.
Making
Ends Meet will hold its Open House on Nov. 6 and 7. Come see custom
one-of-a-kind gift items – everything from artwork, furniture and mirrors

shop. Refreshments will be served.

Up Simpsonville. This free event invites merrymakers to join Mayor
