The
honor recognizes the top five percent of local wedding professionals from
the WeddingWire Network. The recipients must demonstrate excellence in
quality, service, responsiveness and professionalism.
“We are flattered and humbled to be considered in the top echelon of wedding professionals,” said Kristin Parker, Whiteface Club Wedding Planner and Events Coordinator. “On such a sacred day for these couples, our team has a great responsibility to deliver an experience that will last a lifetime for the newlyweds, their families and friends. When the event has concluded, the Whiteface Club will be part of that forevermore.” Mark Sperling, CEO of the Whiteface Club Companies, expressed his appreciation of this most recent accolade. “What makes this particular award so significant is that it comes from the couples themselves,” he said. “If they’re happy, we’re happy. The top five percent of planners is a very exclusive group, and is achieved by the cohesive execution by our entire wedding team. I’m grateful to the staff for the wonderful job they do, and thankful for the reviews from the couples.” Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the organization, the WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Awards® are issued solely based on the reviews from over 1.2 million newlyweds. The Whiteface Club and Resort has also been honored by The Knot with its seventh consecutive Best of Weddings Award and Hall of Fame Award for 2017. The Whiteface Club wedding ceremony, in a beautiful wedding garden, takes place before a stunning waterfront setting on the shore of Lake Placid, with the majesty of Whiteface Mountain serving as a natural backdrop. These gardens are meticulously maintained by a dedicated staff whose singular goal is to beautify the entire property, with emphasis on preparation for the big day. Couples also have the utmost confidence in the Whiteface Club’s reception and dining venue, complete with upscale menu choices provided by Executive Chef Matt Baldwin and his skilled staff. The wedding experience may include rounds of golf for the wedding party and guests at the Whiteface Club. The tree-lined routing has been recognized by Golfweek Magazine as among New York State’s top-rated courses, and is part of the Resort Community of the Whiteface Club and Resort, now under development, including the new Forest Brook Estates sub-division. The Whiteface Club’s sister property, the AAA Four Diamond Mirror Lake Inn Resort and Spa, with its Four Diamond The View Restaurant, provide wedding guests with upscale lakeside lodging and dining experiences. They are separated by just three miles.
