Syracuse, NY – December 2018 / Newsmaker Alert / Fans of the Wade Shows Midway at the Great New York State Fair can put some excitement under the tree for Christmas this year as Wade Shows and the Fair will offer ride-all-day weekday wristbands for the lowest price of the 2019 Fair season. Vouchers good for weekday wristbands will be sold for $15, a 25% discount from the $20 cost during the advance sale period in summer and $30 during the Fair. The sale takes place beginning at 6 a.m. Dec. 11 at the Fair’s official online sales site on Etix.com. Only 7,500 wristbands will be available for sale. The sale ends at midnight.

“We’re excited to offer this special sale right before Christmas because we know many people look forward to the Fair and love the Midway. For anyone who enjoys the rides, this is a perfect Christmas stocking stuffer,” said Troy Waffner, Fair Director.

“There’s no better way to say Happy Holidays to all the loyal Wade Shows supporters at the Great New York State Fair than with this very special offer,” said Frank Zaitshik, Wade Shows’ owner.

The actual price of a voucher will be $15.45, including taxes and fees. Purchases will be limited to four per person. Vouchers must be taken to the Wade Shows customer service booths on the Midway during the Fair to be exchanged for wristbands. Weekday wristbands allow wearers to ride an unlimited number of Midway rides on any one day Monday - Friday, except for the Broadway Skyliner, which is purchased separately. Wristbands good for Saturdays and Sundays can be purchased at the customer service booth for a $5 upgrade. Weekend wristbands will cost $35 if purchased during the Fair. Once purchased, vouchers are not refundable. Buyers should contact Etix customer service with questions.

Wristbands are not recommended for children under 36” as there are a limited number of rides they can safely ride. Parents with children under 48” should check the height requirements before purchasing to make an informed decision about whether wristbands are the best value for their children. The lineup for rides for the 2019 Fair will be posted on the Fair’s website when it is finalized. Information about all the rides Wade Shows offers, including height requirements, can be seen here. Wade Shows offers a wristband good for 10 rides for $10 on Monday, August 27 and all rides for $1 on Labor Day, September 3.
