New York State Fair, in partnership with Round Room Live and Moonbug,
invites families from all over to get in on the joy and make lasting memories
when the hit live show, Blippi: The Wonderful World Tour,
makes a special stop at the Chevy Court on Sunday, September 1, 2024
at 1 p.m., bringing with it the vivacious, energetic, and educational
antics of the global sensation.
Blippi inspires curiosity
in preschoolers around the world by creating content and experiences that
are relatable, accessible and make learning fun. So, come on! Dance, sing,
and learn with Blippi and special guest Meekah as they discover what makes
different cities unique and special. Will there be monster trucks, excavators,
and garbage trucks galore? You bet! So, get ready to shake those wiggles
out and OJ Twist your way through this brand-new musical party this Labor
Day weekend!

Blippi has become a worldwide
sensation with more than one billion monthly views across platforms including
Netflix, HBO Max, Cartoonito, Sky, Amazon and YouTube and millions of fans
around the world. The franchise has expanded rapidly since it was
acquired by Moonbug Entertainment in 2020. Blippi is available in
more than 20 languages, including American Sign Language, and is distributed
by more than 30 global broadcast and streaming partners. Blippi’s buddies
Meekah and Juca have spun off into their own shows and Blippi lives off
the screen as well with sold-out live events, popular music tracks, and
in-demand toys available at all major retailers.
Blippi: The Wonderful
World Tour kicked off in early 2023, with a successful spring run in
North America that saw more than 165,000 tickets sold across 90 cities
with multiple sold-out performances before entertaining UK audiences through
Summer 2023. Continuing to travel North America throughout 2023 and into
2024, Blippi: The Wonderful World Tour also performed dates in Johannesburg,
Dubai, and Mexico City.

Blippi to the Great New York State Fair and deliver on our promise to bring
more entertainment that our young fairgoers and their families can enjoy,”
said Interim Fair Director Julie LaFave. “Blippi is fun and his energy
is contagious. He’ll have audiences singing and dancing at Chevy Court;
what an awesome addition to our entertainment lineup for the 2024 Fair,
which truly has something for everyone.”
The Fair starts Wednesday,
August 21, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 2.
All concerts are included in the price of admission, which will go on sale
later this summer. The Great New York State Fair is the most affordable
state fair in the country.
In total, The Fair’s Chevrolet
Music Series will feature 39 national recording acts. There will be a daily
1 p.m. and 6 p.m. concert at Chevy Court (located near Gate 1),
and a daily 8 p.m. concert at Suburban Park (located on the western
end of the Fairgrounds, beyond the Midway).
