Syracuse,
NY – April 2024 / NewsmakerAlert: The Great
New York State Fair announces that Pop/Contemporary Christian band
and sibling trio sensation, CAIN, will join the 2024 entertainment
lineup. CAIN will take the Chevy Court Stage on Monday, August
26, 2024 at 6 p.m.
Raised in Hartselle, Alabama
as pastor’s kids and now residing in Nashville, the sibling trio comprised
of Madison Cain Johnson, Taylor Cain Matz, and Logan Cain have been delighting
audiences with their joyous performances since 2012, when they got their
big break opening for Dave Barnes and Andrew Ripp. Since then, they have
gone on to release four projects and shared the stage with artists such
as TobyMac, Zach Williams, and Casting Crowns, while also performing on
the famed stages of The Grand Ole Opry, Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and Ryman
Auditorium.

Following the success of
their breakout album, Rise Up, which won a K-LOVE Fan Award for
Top Breakout Single “Rise Up (Lazarus),” Honest Offering was released
in 2022, followed by Jesus Music in 2023. In 2023, the group debuted
their reality TV show “Chasing CAIN,” the first original series produced
exclusively for the TBN app and headlined their first tour – CAIN: Live
& In Color – during the spring and fall.
“We’re excited to bringing
this tremendous sibling trio to fairgoers for the very first time,” said
Interim Fair Director Julie LaFave. “CAIN is a great addition to the
Chevrolet Music Series at the Great New York State Fair, which has long
been known for having something for everyone – from highlighting some of
the most talked-about new and contemporary artists like CAIN to welcoming
back greats from decades past and everyone in between. We can’t wait to
sing alongside these soulful siblings this summer!”
The Fair starts Wednesday,
August 21, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 2.
All concerts are included in the price of admission, which will go on sale
later this summer. The Great New York State Fair is the most affordable
state fair in the country.
In total, The Fair’s Chevrolet
Music Series will feature 39 national recording acts. There will be a daily
1 p.m. and 6 p.m. concert at Chevy Court (located near Gate 1),
and a daily 8 p.m. concert at Suburban Park (located on the western
end of the Fairgrounds, beyond the Midway).
