“All Day Café” In Nashville

Bradenton, FL & Nashville, TN – January 2019 / Newsmaker Alert / Sun & Fork by First Watch, a new fast-casual all-day breakfast and lunch concept, has opened at 2525 West End Ave. in a space that formerly operated as Bread & Company. The new restaurant is First Watch’s sole fast-casual eatery, and it joins nine full-service First Watch restaurants in Greater Nashville.

“After operating Bread & Company for five years, it became clear to us that there was a gap in the marketplace for quick, convenient and healthy options made with simple, fresh ingredients. When we added items that fit that mold like Avocado Toast, Quinoa Bowls and our A.M. Superfoods Bowl to the legacy Bread & Company menu, they immediately became top sellers,” said Chris Tomasso, CEO of First Watch. “With Sun & Fork, we’ve created a restaurant for Vanderbilt students and staff, the surrounding medical community and other local area businesses and residents to enjoy those healthy options and other First Watch favorites.”

Everything on Sun & Fork’s one-of-a-kind menu is fresh and made-to-order, including unique specialty items like a Build-Your-Own Bowl option, Millionaire’s Club and So Cal Breakfast Burrito, alongside several staples from First Watch’s award-winning breakfast, brunch and lunch menu such as Avocado Toast, Million Dollar Bacon and the Elevated Egg Sandwich. Sun & Fork offers healthy, flavorful favorites like house-made granola, organic greens, house-roasted vegetables and cage-free eggs.

The new restaurant also serves First Watch’s new Project Sunrise coffee, grown by an independent group of female farmers in Huila, Colombia, called Mujeres en Café, as well as healthy options from its Juice Bar, juiced in-house daily using fresh fruits and vegetables. Bread & Company’s original recipe fan-favorite Fruit Tea is also available.

Sun & Fork also features grab-and-go entrees and beverages prepared daily for customers in a time crunch. The restaurant offers customers free Wifi and is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Online ordering is available at SunAndFork.com.

First Watch, which has operated restaurants in Nashville since 2011, acquired Nashville-based Bread & Company in 2014, when the concept operated two locations in the area.
