Global Connections' Announces New Management for Myla Rose Saloon at Lodge by The Blue
Breckenridge, CO – August 2018 / Newsmaker Alert / Global Connections, Inc. (GCI) has announced a new management team at its popular Myla Rose Saloon at Lodge by The Blue in Breckenridge, CO. The Lodge, owned and managed by GCI, is located in the heart of some of the best skiing in Colorado and perfect for families looking for a convenient location in the Rockies.

Named after President and CEO Tom Lyons’ granddaughter, Myla Rose Saloon is an extension of Lodge by The Blue’s rustic Colorado mountain vibe, with a stone fireplace, warm polished wood floors and tables, and a bar that combines modern functionality with retro rustic, creating an ambience worthy of a trendy underground speakeasy.

Mac McNamara, new manager of the Saloon, along with Chef/Kitchen Manager, Jess Cant, and Bar Manager, Rob Shofner, are committed to serving “elevated comfort food” with locally sourced ingredients—without having to drive into the town of Breckenridge (about 5 miles way).

Mac says, “Our Global Discovery Vacations’ members and guests enjoy hanging out at the Myla Rose because they get a little taste of what it is like living the mountain life. On the flip side, people often make the drive ‘out of town’ to get here so they can escape all the hustle and bustle downtown tends to create. We make it worth the short drive with great food, an enjoyable atmosphere and a million-dollar view from one of the best decks in Summit County.”

Lodge by The Blue has an expansive outdoor patio to view the sunset or stargaze. Myla Rose Saloon diners are encouraged to bring their favorite beverages outside to enjoy the spectacular views or they may opt to enjoy them on a comfy couch in front of one of the Lodge’s cozy roaring fireplaces.
