Deerfield, IL – April 2019 / Newsmaker Alert / Hyatt Regency Deerfield, a full-service luxury hotel in Chicago’s northern suburbs, is currently undergoing a full-scale, multi-million dollar renovation. The renovation includes a complete revamp of guestrooms and suites, refreshed meeting spaces and updated common areas including the lobby, guestroom hallways and Jaxx Bistro and Jaxx Lounge, the hotel’s signature restaurant and bar, respectively.

Conveniently located just a short drive away from both Chicago O’Hare International Airport and Downtown Chicago, the hotel is an inviting, affordable choice for business trips, vacations and weekend getaways.

The first phase of construction includes a $14 million renovation of guestrooms and will be completed on April 18, 2019.

All 300 guestrooms and suites will receive a full restoration and upgrade, including new entertainment centers with 65” Smart TV’s, built-in custom closets, desks, and sleeper sofas. Each room will be equipped with a custom, built-in component serving as a luggage rack or additional seating and storage. The bathrooms will receive floor-to-ceiling makeovers, with notable amenities including a walk-in shower and custom vanity.

The goal of the renovation is to provide guests with an elevated experience combining comfort with clean, modern design and upgraded amenities. The hotel’s new look will feature a combination of textures and reflective, natural materials in a palette of grey tones, accompanied by splashes of color. The color and textual elements are incorporated throughout the hotel’s common areas and 20,000 square feet of flexible meeting space to create a cohesive sensory experience throughout the hotel.

The overall design aesthetic and conceptual elements are inspired by the surrounding rivers that helped define the Village of Deerfield, The new interiors will be fresh and energetic, marrying timeless architectural details with smart artistic elements evocative of the region’s prevalent scientific community.

The second renovation phase will begin in fall 2019 and is set to complete the remainder of the interior enhancements of the common areas. The hotel will remain open during both phases of the project.
