Restaurant at the Mirror Lake
Inn Resort and Spa in Lake Placid, has been honored for its wine program
in Wine Spectator’s 2019 Restaurant Wine List Awards. The restaurant
received the Best of Award of Excellence, and is recognized among other
winners from all over the globe as a top destination for wine lovers.

Placid’s only AAA Four Diamond dining establishment boasts an inventory
of nearly 500 global selections, with an estimated value in excess of $125,000.

Wine
Spectator began its program to recognize the world’s best wine lists
in 1981. There are three levels: the Award of Excellence, the Best of Award
of Excellence and the Grand Award—with 2,447; 1,244; and 100 winners this
year in each respective category.
The
View Restaurant was cited for offering a wine list with significant vintage
depth and superior breadth in one or more major wine regions.
