Syracuse,
NY – May 2025 / NewsmakerAlert: Mark your calendars for a dash
of “Heaven” on Sunday, August 24 at 1 p.m. That's when Grammy-Award
winners Los Lonely Boys will bring their unique blend of rock &
roll, Texas blues, brown-eyed soul, country, and Tejano to Chevy Court,
making for an unforgettable Texican Rock & Roll experience at The
Great New York State Fair.
“The Fair's music series
stands out for its diverse entertainment lineup, catering to the broad
musical tastes of our fairgoers,” said Fair Director Julie LaFave.
“The journey of the Garza brothers from small-town musicians to Grammy
winners embodies the inspiring spirit and variety our concert series are

Los Lonely Boys, the Texas-based
band, catapulted to fame in the early 2000s, with the help of Willie Nelson,
who discovered them in Austin clubs. Nelson not only showcased them at
Farm Aid but also supported their initial recordings, even making a guest
appearance on their self-titled, breakthrough album. The album, released
in 2003, was propelled by the chart-topping single “Heaven”, ultimately
selling over two million copies and spending 76 weeks on the Billboard
Top 200, earning the band a Grammy for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or
Group.
Their meteoric rise was chronicled
in the documentary “Los Lonely Boys: Cottonfields and Crossroads” and the
band later collaborated with icons like Carlos Santana and appeared on
a John Lennon tribute record. Through it all, Los Lonely Boys have
remained committed to their roots, producing music that honors their family's
legacy while paving new paths in the music world.
Their highly anticipated
performance on the Chevy Court stage is part of a summer filled with live
entertainment, agricultural and cultural exhibits, and family fun. The
Great New York State Fair continues its tradition of providing a platform
for artists that inspire and entertain, with Los Lonely Boys exemplifying
the talent that the New York State Fair will bring this summer.
The Fair starts Wednesday,
August 20, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 1.
All concerts are included in the price of admission, which will go on sale
later this summer. The Great New York State Fair is the most affordable
state fair in the country. Tickets are $8 for adults while admission is
free for children under 12 and senior citizens aged 65 and older.
In total, The Fair’s 2025
Chevrolet Music Series will feature 41 national recording acts.

near Gate 1), and an 8 p.m. concert each evening at Suburban Park
