98 Degrees will return to The
Great New York State Fair this summer to give fairgoers “Just One Night”
of heart-melting hits like “I Do Cherish You,” “The Hardest Thing,” “My
Everything,” and “Because of You.” The classic boy band will be hitting
the Suburban Park stage Monday, August 25 at 8 p.m. for a
performance that is sure to Take Your Breath Away!
Known for their seamless
harmonies and signature R&B-inspired ballads, 98 Degrees is an internationally
acclaimed, multi-platinum, multi-award winning and nominated vocal group
comprised of brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Jeff Timmons, and Justin Jeffre.
The group has sold over 15 million albums worldwide with four Top 5 Billboard
charting radio singles, including mega-hits such as “The Hardest Thing,”
“I Do, Cherish You,” “Because of You,” and the number one hit single featuring
Mariah Carey called, “Thank God I Found You.” 98 Degrees’ albums have reached
gold or platinum status in more than 60 countries worldwide. Their first
Christmas album, “98 Degrees This Christmas,” has sold over two million
copies and is widely recognized as one of the most successful holiday albums
ever.

“We’re so excited to welcome
98 Degrees back to the Fair this summer after an incredible performance
in 2021,” said Fair Director, Julie LaFave. “Fresh on the heels
of their new album, we’re looking forward to what’s sure to be a performance
that brings on the nostalgia for longtime listeners while introducing a
new generation of fans to the sultry sounds that defined the 90s!”
Recently, the quartet released
their first album in more than a decade, Full Circle. Blending the
hits of their past with the present, the album features five original new
songs, as well as six “98°’s Version” note-for-note re-recordings of
the band’s Billboard Hot 100 top 20 hits, including “Give Me Just One Night
(Una Noche)” and “The Hardest Thing.” Released May 9, 2025, Full Circle
officially gives the beloved boy band full ownership of the songs that
helped shape and define the musical landscape of the late 90s and early
2000s.
The Fair starts Wednesday,
August 20, and runs through Labor Day, Monday, September 1. All concerts
are included in the price of admission, which are on
sale now through the Fair’s recently launched Star-Spangled
Savings ticket sale promotion. The promotional sale closes July 6 at
midnight. Tickets will be sold for a total of $6.28 each, which includes
the price of the ticket, $6, ticket fee, $0.14, and credit card processing
fee, $0.14. Each user may purchase a maximum of 12 tickets. Tickets must
be purchased online by visiting The Great
New York State Fair’s website.

Chevrolet
Music Series will feature 41 national recording acts. There will be
a daily 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. concert at Chevy Court (located near Gate
1), and an 8 p.m. concert each evening at Suburban Park (located
on the western end of the Fairgrounds, beyond the Midway). The Fair will
also host two special shows at 9 p.m. on Friday, August 22 and 29 at Chevy
Court.
