In addition to gaining a comprehensive view of air travel transactions, sourced from travel agency and airline direct sales, customers will get insight into travel industry performance with access to five years of historical data and 12 months of future travel data. “As the air travel industry navigates the turbulent landscape caused by COVID-19, ARC is committed to bringing awareness to current and future travel demand with timely, global data,” said Arun Gupta, ARC’s managing director of global data products. “After listening to the needs of our customers, we wanted to offer a more comprehensive data solution for full visibility into air travel activity to better paint the picture of what actual recovery looks like.” This is the first ARC product available through Snowflake’s secure data sharing platform. It can also be accessed via a customized API powered by Amazon Web Services (AWS). These newly available data delivery methods result from ARC’s ongoing transformation of its technology platforms.
