from Australia in 1997, Dore-Smith joins BLUE after over 25 years of expertise
in managing exclusive bundled golf course communities in SW Florida. Since
2021, Dore-Smith had served as General Manager of Copperleaf Golf Club
in Estero, FL, after 18 years as their Director of Golf Course and Grounds
Maintenance. He oversaw a total golf course renovation in 2015 and the
successful redesign of its member clubhouse and dining facilities in 2024
– a $20 million project. He holds an associate degree in Turf Management
and an Advanced Certificate in Horticulture. Dore-Smith is a Certified
Community Association Manager, certified arborist, and Florida Certified
Horticultural Professional. He has many “Green” industry professional designations,
including past president of the Florida Golf Course Superintendents Association,
and is a City of Bonita Springs Tree Advisory Board member.
Founded in 2013 by Tim Felts, Frank Kitchener, John McFadden, and Lawrence Perillo, BLUE Landscape & Outdoor Solutions has grown dramatically by providing all-inclusive services for every imaginable outdoor need for homeowners, architects, and builders. Many of the company’s clients are owners of high-end residences in Naples and other communities. The “BLUE” in the company’s name represents Beautifying Landscapes Upgrading Environments. “I
