Back To News/PR Index | | | “We’ve
been able to provide a safe recreational outlet for a substantial number
of players since opening in March, but given all that is transpiring societally,
we felt this was the right thing to do,” said Circling Raven’s Dave Christenson,
PGA, Director of Golf.
Circling Raven Peak season rates were to commence on May 21, but the golf club, owned and operated by the Coeur d’Alene Tribe, pivoted toward accessible value and support for its patrons during this challenging time. Additionally, Circling Raven is offering several special events this spring and season, complementing the critically acclaimed 18-hole golf experience. An exciting event for young people is Free Kids Day with a special appearance by former LPGA star and U.S. Women’s Amateur champion Wendy Ward, a Spokane resident. The next event is May 23, from 3-5 pm. Participants ages 7 – 15 will be introduced to golf by Circling Raven golf professionals and get to meet Ms. Ward. Each child will receive an hour lesson, including learning to putt, chip and drive the golf ball. This will be followed by a complimentary dinner and the opportunity to tour the golf course. To reserve a place in the limited participant event, RSVP with Head Golf Professional David VonBrethorst (dvonbrethorst@cdacasino.com or 800-523-2464 ext. 7262). A partial list of Circling Raven events includes the following:
The Advantage Card is an ideal way to maximize receiving Circling Raven perks. Purchasing the card enables cardholders to receive a complimentary round this season, free entry into an Advantage Cardholder tournament, $10 off the lowest greens fee for each round, supervised practice on the range or clinics with Circling Raven pros, and more. For example, cardholders receive 20% off all shoes in the Golf Shop during May. Circling Raven Stay-and-Play Packages begin at $249 and include one night’s stay, double occupancy, and two rounds each at Circling Raven. The packages are complimented by pairing golf with other Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel amenities.
