Magazine proudly unveiled the winners of the 2025
Home of the Year competition during an exclusive awards ceremony at
Architecture Sarasota. This annual celebration honors the finest in-home
design, featuring outstanding projects submitted by builders, architects,
landscape architects, and interior designers across the Sarasota and Manatee
region. From Siesta Key to Myakka, Anna Maria to Downtown Sarasota, the
competition highlights the area’s most impressive residential designs.
A distinguished
panel of judges from across the country evaluated the entries, bestowing
awards to projects that exemplify exceptional craftsmanship, creativity,
and innovation in home design.

One
of this year’s standout honorees was Clive Daniel Home’s very own Lead
Designer, Kelli
Smith, of Sarasota, who was honored with the prestigious Silver Award
for Best Overall Interior Design for her exceptional work on the Pindari
Model. This remarkable achievement was made possible through her collaboration
with John Cannon Homes,
serving as both architect and contractor, bringing visionary design and
craftsmanship to life.
This
contemporary farmhouse merges relaxed charm with modern sophistication,
creating a seamless blend of comfort and elegance. The Pindari Model captivates
with its soaring great room ceilings, striking scissor trusses, and a modern
charcoal brick fireplace with an adjacent wine niche. The home’s serene
color palette of soft wood tones, blacks, and whites enhances the inviting
ambiance, while natural light and rustic accents bring warmth to the space.
The kitchen is a masterpiece of both function and form, boasting stained
cabinets, Bianco Dolomite quartz countertops, a beautifully tiled backsplash,
and refined brass hardware. Elegant dining furniture and professional-grade
appliances complete the sophisticated aesthetic.
The
master suite provides a sanctuary of luxury, featuring vaulted ceilings
with painted box beams. The ‘his’ bathroom embraces a rustic appeal with
wood and slate tile finishes, while the ‘hers’ bath exudes boutique charm
with marble accents and a dedicated makeup vanity. Outside, the lanai extends
the living space, offering a tranquil retreat with sandblasted marble pavers,
