Ybel Resort and Hilton Grand Vacations Club, is excited to announce
the near-completion of its extensive restoration efforts following the
devastating impact of Hurricane Ian. Nestled along the iconic West Gulf
Drive, one of the hardest-hit areas, the resort has been meticulously rebuilt
with 18 fully renovated two-bedroom units, beautifully designed by Maryanne
Hubbell of Clive Daniel Home.
The
resort industry is abuzz with anticipation as this ambitious project promises
to transform the Sanibel landscape. With an additional 40 units on the
Casa Ybel Resort side scheduled for completion in August and September,
the grand reopening is on the horizon. This eagerly awaited event promises
an array of new amenities and features, set to delight both residents and
visitors in the upcoming season. The reconstruction effort has been monumental,
requiring over 12 truck loads and the elite delivery team from Clive Daniel
Home to install custom-designed furniture and remove debris, including
damaged furnishings from the hurricane.

Over
the past two years, Casa Ybel Resort’s journey has been one of resilience
and dedication, overcoming numerous challenges to preserve the cherished
heritage of Sanibel Island. The renovation has included significant upgrades,
such as new roofs, state-of-the-art HVAC systems, and the replacement of
sliding glass doors, windows, and other essential fixtures. The resort’s
structural integrity has been bolstered with the completion of exterior
landings and staircases, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for
all guests.
Each
renovated suite at Casa Ybel Resort offers breathtaking views of the Gulf
of Mexico. The interiors have been thoughtfully designed to provide a luxurious
yet comfortable experience, featuring a master bedroom with a king-size
bed, a guest room with two twin beds, and both master and guest bathrooms.
The spacious living room, equipped with a queen-size sleeper sofa, seamlessly
connects to a fully equipped kitchen and dining area, offering all the
comforts of home. Guests can unwind and enjoy the serene beauty of the
island from their private screened-in balcony, mere steps away from the
pristine white sand beach.
