Resorts Hawaii Promotes Ben Beaudoin to General Manager
Wailea/Maui,
HI – December 2012 / Hospitality 1ST / Maynard Torchiana, Managing Director
and Executive Vice President of Destination Resorts Hawaii Inc., (DRH)
today announced that Ben Beaudoin has been appointed as General Manager
of Destination Resorts
Hawaii. Since July of 2007, Beaudoin has been the Assistant General
Manager for operations for the DRH collection of premium Maui condo and
villa rentals.
Before
joining Destination Resorts Hawaii, Beaudoin worked as General Manager
for Hilton Hotel Corporation in Charleston, South Carolina. There he gained
knowledge of operations and sales and marketing. Prior to that, he worked
in various capacities throughout his career at Embassy Suites, Red Roof
Inns, Comfort Suites, and Hampton Inns. Beaudoin began his hospitality
career as a fine dining cook in Maui.

varied background, progressiveness and passion make him an ideal choice

to ensure that we continue to maintain Destination Resorts Hawaii as the
premier property management company in Wailea.”
Beaudoin
graduated from The University of South Carolina in 1997 with a degree in
Hotel Restaurant and Tourism Management. He is a CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator),
a Dale Carnegie Graduate and Human Relations Award Recipient, a member
of the Eta Sigma Delta International Hospitality Management Society, and
a Golden Key Honor Society Member. Beaudoin is an active supporter of the
Girls and Boys Club of Maui and Central Maui baseball.
