First Watch Opens Third Lexington Area Restaurant

“Daytime Café” continues expansion
in Kentucky with Hamburg-Winchester Road location

The new 3,700 sq.ft. restaurant occupies an end-cap space within a freestanding outparcel building and features a patio for outdoor dining. The restaurant employs approximately 25 people.

The Hamburg-Winchester Road First Watch is a part of a multi-unit franchise agreement with Holland Rosen Group, LLC announced in 2011 to open a total of eight restaurants throughout Lexington and Louisville by 2016.

The new restaurant’s design accentuates an open-kitchen concept, which reinforces First Watch’s honest approach to fresh food preparation. All menu items are freshly prepared to order and the restaurant does not use deep fryers or heat lamps.

“We are so excited to open another restaurant in The Bluegrass State,” said Chris Tomasso, chief marketing officer for First Watch. “Both Lexington and Louisville are fantastic cities for First Watch’s unique recipes, fresh, quality ingredients and top notch service.”

First Watch takes freshness to heart starting each day cutting fresh fruit and vegetables, making items like French toast, crepe batter, granola and salsa from scratch, roasting vegetables in-house daily and offering 100% fresh-squeezed Orange Juice. First Watch also looks to locally source produce whenever possible. In addition to serving unique and fresh entrées, First Watch offers its exclusive Sunrise Select® Premium Blend Coffee. The special blend is made from slow-roasted, hand-selected, high-grown coffee beans from mountains across the Americas.
