Spanish Flat and Steele Canyon Recreation Areas

parkland concessioners, Forever
Resorts, has been named interim operator of two recreation areas at
Lake
Berryessa in Napa, Calif. Forever Resorts’ Pleasure Cove Marina, LLC,
will operate Spanish Flat and Steele Canyon Recreation Areas at Lake Berryessa
through Dec. 31, 2013, with the option of renewing for two one-year periods.
Forever Resorts has operated Lake Berryessa’s Pleasure Cove Resort and
Marina under a long-term concession contract since 2005.

Flat Recreation Area provides day-use facilities as well as RV and

Steele
Canyon Recreation Area offers RV and tent camping, as well as day-use
and boat launching. Please call 707-966-9179 to make campsite reservations.

are pleased to operate these two campgrounds,” said Terry Sparkman, general
manager at Pleasure Cove Marina. “The public now has more camping choices
on Lake Berryessa.”
Both
recreation areas offer tranquil settings with easy access to picturesque
Lake Berryessa, which is nestled amidst the verdant hills of the world-famous
Napa Valley wine region. Please note no RV hook-ups, potable water or flush
restrooms are currently available; visitors and campers are advised to
bring bottled water.
