| | Grand Pacific Resorts created the Revive & Thrive Program, which gives Owners an opportunity to help transform the life of a family in need. The response has been overwhelming, with 22 weeks donated so far. For every donated week, Grand Pacific Resorts assists with additional costs like transportation, meals, and anything else the survivor may need in order for them to enjoy a completely carefree vacation. When
their efforts came to a sudden halt last March due to safety restrictions
resulting from the pandemic, both organizations had to get creative in
terms of their fundraising goals. Grand Pacific Resorts sponsored a virtual
race in October of 2020, supplementing received donations with a $2,000
contribution to send two additional breast cancer survivors on vacation
in 2021.
Grand Pacific Resorts and Send Me On Vacation are thrilled to announce that these gifted vacations have resumed once again. They recently sent their first vacation recipient this year on a week-long stay at Grand Pacific Palisades in Carlsbad, California. The survivor, along with her husband and two children, described her family’s time there as restorative, saying she felt a sense of peace she hadn’t been able to feel in quite a while. Read more about her journey here. “We have a long-standing commitment to giving back to our communities, and I’m so proud that our Owners eagerly partner with us to benefit this cause,” said Renee Wanger, RRP, Senior Director of Creative Services and Brand Management at Grand Pacific Resorts. “These women and their families have been through so much, and they deserve a vacation. Watching our Associates create an extra special welcome and week of rejuvenation is a reflection of our organization’s core values in action.” About
