| | The
festivities kicked off with a warm bilingual welcome from Grand Pacific
Resorts Co-President, David
Brown, who set the stage, saying, “You are the best of the best! This
competition honors your outstanding housekeeping skills. Our Owners and
Guests appreciate your dedication to making their vacations truly memorable.”
Dressed in festive Christmas-themed costumes (think elves, reindeer, and holiday cheer galore!), teams dove into friendly competition with challenges that displayed their skills and creativity. Events included the Toilet Paper/Bed Relay, the Fastest Towel Folding Challenge, and a brand-new category that wowed the crowd – Holiday-Themed Towel Origami! The towel masterpieces? Imagine penguins, snowmen, and even Christmas trees, all parading their way to the judges’ table! The creativity was off the charts. As the competitions wrapped up, the celebration continued with lively mariachi music and delicious Mexican cuisine. The air buzzed with laughter, camaraderie, and team spirit. Clinton Owen, General Manager at Carlsbad Seapointe Resort, captured the vibe perfectly: “Everybody here is amazing. Even though we’re all from different properties, we’re all one team.” Overall Winning Teams – Take a Bow!
