The resort boasts three elevated decks, four restaurants—Drift, Lolita’s, Beach Market and Toast—a spa with full-service salt room and large fitness center, four ballrooms, and future retail storefronts along the Beach Walk. A unique elevated pedestrian bridge now connects Opal Sol to its sister property, Opal Sands, enhancing and expanding the luxury experience, as guests can take advantage of offerings from both resorts. The completion of Opal Sol marks a significant milestone for Moss and Ocean Properties, reinforcing the strong, decade-long strong relationship cultivated with other hotel and construction projects the companies have worked on together. The relation between Ocean Properties, Ltd. with its subsidiaries and Moss has spanned over 10 years. “It’s been incredibly rewarding to see that partnership evolve into the creation of Opal Sol, which was delivered on time and under budget,” said Toby Manulak, Senior Vice President of Moss’ Mid-Florida Region, based in Tampa. “This resort reflects the trust and shared vision between our teams to deliver iconic projects that elevate Clearwater Beach’s hospitality offerings.” Moss’ commitment to schedule certainty, craftsmanship, and meticulous quality control played a key role in overcoming challenges during the project’s construction timeline. Despite dealing with four named tropical storms throughout the build, Moss delivered Opal Sol on time, ensuring the new luxury resort was ready to welcome guests for the busiest time of the year on Clearwater Beach. “Building a luxury resort of this caliber requires an unwavering focus on detail,” Manulak said. “From the foundation to the finishes, our team approached every phase of construction with precision to ensure Opal Sol met the highest standards— bringing the visions of Nichols Architects and interior designer IDDI to life and delivering the exceptional quality expected of an Opal property.” Nancy Cimney, Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Opal Collection, emphasized the resort’s distinctive appeal. “Opal Sol offers the elevated level of accommodations, the largest Gulfview meeting space and service our guests expect, but with unique elements that truly set it apart,” said Cimney. “From the dual pool decks and sweeping Gulf views to the thoughtfully curated dining experiences and upscale guest rooms, every detail is designed to create unforgettable moments.” The addition of Opal Sol now makes the hotels of Opal Collection some of the largest beachfront space on the west coast of Florida. Opal hotels have 125,000-square-feet of indoor meeting space, plus 55,000-square-feet of outdoor space with just around 800 rooms with parking for over 1,000 vehicles in the Clearwater market. Opal Sol was designed to meet customers’ desire for first class, full service amenities, and suites with all-water-view balconies on one of the best beaches in the U.S. For more information about Moss, visit www.Moss.com.
