to expand the company’s vision. After four successful years, the company

management began with the Shores of Panama property and has expanded to
include a portfolio of four additional properties in just four years. Oaseas
Resorts also rents more than 800 vacation units in Panama City Beach and
South Walton and is looking to expand into other geographic areas. The
resort and hotel management company offers third-party management services,
stepping into bank-owned properties to keep them profitable.

With
an executive team whose combined experience represents a distinguished
track record of recognizing business opportunities and building and leading
companies to sustainable growth in the hospitality industry, Oaseas Resorts

and development.
Meet
Marty McDaniel, president and CEO of Oaseas Resorts, is a second-generation
hotelier, with a background in senior level hotel/resort management, including
working as general manager of an 800-unit flagship resort, and understands
more than anyone in the region the impact of large-scale growth in the
condominium market and the impact that growth can have on the economy.
He has served as the chairman of the Tourist Development Council (TDC)
and is currently the chair of the marketing committee of the TDC, which
is focused on the image and marketing of the beaches of Panama City.
“In
a county like ours, it is impossible to overlook the economic impact of
the tourism industry,” he says. “With a nearly $1.5 billion annual economic
impact in Bay County, the revenue generated is second only to the military
installations in cumulative industry totals.”
Always
accessible, Marty has a keen understanding of all facets of condominium
ownership and management.
Greg
Felt, controller, holds a BA in Accounting from the University of West
Florida. Felt has held many positions in the hospitality industry, most
recently as assistant controller for St. Joe and Noble House Resorts at
Watercolor. Previously, he has held positions as financial analyst for
Sandestin Resort and Resort Quest. Felt was active Navy from 1987 to 1992.
Vice
President of Operations, Paul Gryniewski graduated from Northern Illinois
University and has more than 20 years of hotel management experience, including
time spent as the regional director of operations for 10 limited service
hotels; time as the general manager and vice president of operations at
Sands Resorts in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and, time in several management
positions for both JP Hotels and Hyatt Hotels. He is a veteran of the United
States Navy and lives in Panama City Beach with his wife Nancy, an attorney,
and their two daughters.
Spending
his entire career in the hospitality business, and with experience as a
general manager, vice president of revenue management, vice president of
hotel operations, and senior vice president of e-commerce operations, Brian
Heath, vice president of marketing and revenue for Oaseas Resorts, has
extensive knowledge in developing new accounts, driving business operations,
improving sluggish sales and significantly impacting growth and profits.
Human
Resources Manager, Susie L. Singletary, has more than 20 years of human
resources experience, including time spent as the staffing manager for
Bay Medical Center, the human resources manager for Royal American Management,
Inc., and the executive personnel assistant for the Florida Department
of Corrections. She is a member of the National Society for Human Resource
Management and the local Bay County SHRM Chapter, and is preparing to take
the PHR exam to receive a certificate for the Professional in Human Resources
designation.
Derek
Tarries serves as the company’s vice president of association management
and has nearly 30 years of property management experience, holding designations
from the Community Association, the State of Florida, the American Resort
Development Association and the Educational Institute of American Hotel
& Motel Association.
