So, I applaud their successes and congratulate them both on this achievement.” Veronica Frazier, TMP – Vice President of Member Development Frazier has played a vital role in the membership and partnership team since 2019. For the past four years, STS has maintained an over 90% retention of membership under her leadership. She will lead the efforts to continue to increase membership and partnership for the association. “I am deeply grateful and excited to accept the promotion to Vice President of Member Development. In this new leadership role, I am eager to collaborate with our team to enhance member engagement and expand our membership base, partnerships, and sponsorship support,” says Frazier. “I am enthusiastic about offering our members continuous learning opportunities, fostering meaningful relationships, and working towards achieving success for the future of the tourism industry.” A graduate
of Florida State University, Frazier began her career in the hospitality
industry 14 years ago. Before joining STS, Frazier worked at Visit Macon
where she held multiple destination sales and service positions before
serving as a National Accounts Manager for Visit Jacksonville. Veronica
is based in Jacksonville, Florida.
Tonja Ray-Smith, TMP, FEP – Vice President of Marketing & Communications A former DMO and Chamber Executive with 20 years of industry experience, Smith began her hospitality career in Mississippi. Under her leadership of the marketing & communications team, the association has launched a new website and grown social media by over 5,000 followers, garnering more than 1.1 million impressions. She will continue to oversee the communication and brand marketing efforts of the association. “I am honored and excited to be promoted to the role of VP of Marketing & Communications. I’m looking forward to leading our association’s efforts in amplifying our brand’s message and achieving new milestones in the marketing and communications space,” said Ray-Smith. About
