Named Director of Sales at Holiday Inn Park Cities in Suburban Dallas

for Stout Street Hospitality,
recently announced that Gail Grogan has been hired as the director of sales
for the Holiday Inn Dallas
Central – Park Cities. Stout Street Hospitality recently took over
the management of the Park Cities property, which is located just steps
away from the recently opened George W. Bush Presidential Library with
easy access to Southern Methodist University, North Park Center, Fair Park/Cotton
Bowl, the American Airlines Center, downtown Dallas and more.

Grogan
brings more than 25 years hospitality experience to the Holiday Inn Dallas
Central – Park Cities. Prior to joining the property she worked for MarketPlace
Events where she launched the Great Big Texas Home Show, the only consumer
show at Cowboys Stadium. She also was the director of sales and special
events for the Dallas Cowboys and Cowboys Stadium for a number of years.
In this role she oversaw bookings for all non-football events at the stadium
including festivals, meetings, pre-concert events, tradeshows, galas and
prepared the initial ground work for the daily private tour business.
Grogan’s
traditional hotel background ranges from independent resorts to conference
centers and branded properties. She worked in key markets such as San Francisco
and Beverly Hills before relocating to Texas in the early 1990s.
Grogan
is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley where she received
a double major in mass communications and legal studies. She also is a
Certified Meeting Planner and a Certified Meeting Manager. She is a member
of Meeting Professionals International, the Professional Convention Management
Association and is a CIC and CMP exam proctor. Grogan also has been an
active member of MPI where she’s an instructor and speaker in the “CMP
University.”
Grogan
currently resides in the Grapevine/Colleyville area.
The
Holiday Inn Dallas Central - Park Cities recently completed a $9 million
renovation and offers a full service restaurant and lounge, upgraded décor
and an indoor pool. The property is a convenient option for business travelers

access to some of the area’s largest companies. More than 12,000 square
