To further improve Broken Top’s award-winning golf experience, future golf-centric projects are in the planning stages including installation of a state-of-the-art irrigation system. The new irrigation system will allow the agronomy team to control each sprinkler head individually for precise watering, better coverage and reduced water usage. The project will enhance course conditions and cement the club’s Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish layout as a premier venue in Central Oregon. Phase one of the irrigation system will be completed in 2025 with the installation of a new pump system. “Over the past two years, club leadership, in partnership with Troon®, have used member feedback and industry trends to carefully craft a thoughtful and forward-looking vision for Broken Top Club,” said Broken Top Club Board President Steve Terry. “With the investments being made in the club, we’re all extremely excited about the club’s trajectory and future. All of the projects are focused on enhancing the member experience, attracting new members, and advancing Broken Top’s position as a premier private club.” In May, the club celebrates the one-year anniversary of the two tournament-size bocce ball courts lined with artificial turf that were built on the sunrise patio, adjacent to the clubhouse for easy food and beverage service. Bocce ball has become very popular at Broken Top with ongoing competitive league matches. Beyond amenity improvements, Broken Top’s management team is also enhancing the member experience, adding more club events, updating menus with fresh seasonal offerings, and increasing training and service levels. “By
investing in our club’s amenities and employees we’re fostering long-term
sustainability while preserving Broken Top’s unique charm,” added Terry.
